Diet Tips

Okay so I know this is a Haute Couture blog, but part of fashion is how you present yourself to the world! I know I'm not skinny myself, but I have tried LOTS of diets, so I know which ones work and which don't. The phrase "There is no such thing as a free lunch" is true, but it doesn't mean there isn't a CHEAPER lunch! So I am here to post some tips and some cheats!

There are many diets out there saying exercise is bad and stuff, but the truth is if you don't exercise, you'll NEVER loose those pounds for good! Those pills that you often see, they just help drop your water weight. And the no carb diets, they just make you skinner temporarily, but when you eat carbs again you'll gain DOUBLE of what you lost!

Confidence is the key to looking beautiful, but in order to feel confident about yourself, YOU NEED TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF! That's where the dieting comes in...

1. DRINK AT LEAST 2LIETERS OF WATER PER DAY! water flushes out the bad toxins out of your body, so not only will it help flush out some flab, but also it'll leave your skin glowing! For those of you who have acne, water is a good way to prevent or have less acne!



2. EXERCISE! remember the term "No pain, No game"? Well in this case it's true! You gotta put in some effort! I suggest at least 300kcals of exercise per day... in the gym, jogging or whatever. So that would be at least 30 mins out of your busy day! Not that much huh? Also if you want to correct your stomach, and get abs, Pilates is a GREAT way to go! They make you suck in your stomach at all times, after one session you should be able to feel the pain!



3. SLIM FAST DRINK!! This drink is like 180kcals (for vanilla or strawberry flavor) and 190kcals (for chocolate flavor) and it stops you from being hungry! So technically it's like having a meal! In case you think you wont be full by just drinking that, try eating a bowl of PLAIN salad with it (or with balsamic vinegar).



4. EAT VEGGIES WITH BALSAMIC VINEGAR!! Vegetables not only fill you up, but they also break down the carbs you eat, and they also clears out your stomach of unhealthy toxins! Also the balsamic vinegar cuts your appetite, and the acid in the vinegar keeps your blood sugar level for two hours! So what are you waiting for?!



5. CHERRY TOMATOES!! Cherry tomatoes help control your sweet tooth! It is scientifically proven that they get rid of the yeast in the body that makes you crave sugar like crazy!



6. ALMONDS ARE GOOD!! Apparently studies show that 1 ounce of almonds per day can decrease 14% on your waist size! They contain satiating monounsaturated oil which blocks the fat absorption!



7. AN APPLE CIDER A DAY A FLAB AWAY!! The famous singer Fergie and famous soap star (Young and the Restless) Michelle Stafford does this too! Drink 8 ounces of hot water mixed with a table spoon of apple cider vinegar and the juice from half a lemon!! It reduces toxins from the glands. You should see a change in your stomach size (if you don't binge eat and exercise properly) really fast! (Maybe within two to four weeks)



8. DRINK GREEN TEA!!! It helps boost your body temperature and burn some excess calories! It contains something called theobromine and theophylline that helps burn calories, and NEITHER of these things are found in coffee! Not only that but studies show that green tea prevents cancer AND it helps with wrinkles and everything! Anti-aging has never been so easy!



9. EAT SOME FISH! Fish is low in calories (as long as they're not fried) and they are great for your skin and hair! Also they have this natural oil, that helps your eyes! Maybe that's why the Japanese are so skinny...



10. BRUSH YOUR TEETH! Next time you go out to eat remember to put a toothbrush with some crest toothpaste in your bag! Brushing your teeth before the meal will kill your appetite (the taste kills it) therefore you eat less! Brushing your teeth after the meal tells your body that the meal is over, and you will feel full (even if your just not hungry) and it'll burn the calories! There are many Hollywood stars who do this! And it also keeps your teeth nice and pearly white!!
